No one should venture out into the outdoors without the awareness of how to take care of yourself, your partner or even a stranger that has become injured out on the trails. This hands on class will teach you the basic wilderness skills needed to stabilize an injury or manage a wound until you can either hike out or help arrives. You will also learn how to improvise with what you have on you, in your pack or in nature to manage an injury when you don’t have it in your first aid kit. This class is taught by a professional Firefighter Medic and International Expedition Guide.
